Dear TiE Members & Friends ,

It gives me immense pleasure to announce that at the recently held TiE Global Awards ceremony at Hawaii during the Global Charter Member Retreat, TiE Delhi has been recognized as the Chapter Performing Consistently at the Highest Level. To be selected for this award from among 47 chapters across 11 countries is a matter of great pride for all of us at TiE Delhi. Particularly so, because this is the first time that this award is constituted and therefore takes into account not just this year’s or last year’s performance but the performance and value delivery of the chapter since its inception. We were delighted and privileged to be nominated along side Chapters such as Silicon Valley, Boston, UK and Bangalore and to actually win the award is a matter of great honor and encouragement for us.

Such a recognition is the result of tremendous team effort. In a volunteer based organization such as TiE, this is indeed a recognition of the volunteering efforts of our charter members, associate and sponsors. Many charter members of TiE Delhi selflessly volunteer their time to drive and support TiE activities and some are heavily engaged in various committees and initiatives of the chapter. On behalf of the secretariat, I take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt gratitude, in particular, to Dr.Saurabh Srivastava, President, TiE Delhi who has been the founder and driving force behind the Chapter’s growth and success and the TiE Delhi Board Members without whose constant support and guidance this would not have been possible.
TiE Delhi’s ability to deliver consistently to our members is also a result of the support and connectivity that TiE Global provides into the network of chapters across the globe. Overseas delegations, support for our members traveling abroad and mentoring by overseas chapter members is indeed a big value for TiE Delhi members.

Last but not the least, ladies and gentlemen, it is you, the members for whom TiE was created, that contribute in helping TiE Delhi become a vibrant chapter. The high level of entrepreneurial activity, entrepreneurial aspirations and dreams that our TiE Delhi members display are indeed the factors which motivate Charter Members, TiE Secretariat and volunteers to create programs and initiatives that you have come to enjoy.

This award for the chapter performing consistently at the highest level has, in fact, strengthened our resolve to continue our efforts to foster the cause of entrepreneurship with renewed vigour. In this journey, we seek your continued engagement and support and congratulate and thank all those of you who have been a part of this exciting and satisfying growth over the years.
